HOW TO PUTT

Putting can be as fascinating as the full swing.  A slight alteration can have dramatic consequences.

The main thing with your grip is to be comfortable.  There are many professional golfers who have very different grips.

Stand tall to see as much as possible with your peripheral vision and let the arms hang loosely from your shoulders.  This allows the shoulders to relax.

Grip your putter so lightly that it almost falls out of your hands. The swing starts at the shoulders guided by the dominant hand.

It is best during the putt to move the hands only a foot at the most either way.

Using the same routine every time you putt helps subconsciously to prepare you for a successful outcome.

1.   Stand behind the ball and survey the green.

2.   Examine the green as you walk toward the hole and study the area close to the hole.

3.   Crouch behind the ball and look at the desired putting line.

4.   Stand in position but slightly away from the ball to take some practice stokes, 2 is usually enough as you         don’t want to hold up the game.

5.   Place the putter behind the ball and shift the feet forward.

6.   Examine the hole and line 2 more times.

7.   Stroke the putt.

If you don’t quite make the hole, be sure to use your kkkapz golf glove ball marker to ensure you can replace your ball as quickly as possible and sink that putt!
